Forestry

Hedberg and Associates can provide a full range of mapping and GIS services for many forestry applications, including:

Harvest planning projections resulting from our strategic or operational planning roles, either for presentation or for various levels of analysis, using the Arc GIS platform.
Resource inventory mapping and analysis for varying purposes, often in support of Forest Stewardship Plans or other higher level planning tools.
Cut block level mapping from field survey information, using RoadEng software, with the final product able to be tailored based on need, i.e. Appraisal map, Site Plan map, Prework map, etc.
Road mapping and design using RoadEng software, with the output able to be tailored to the need, as with cut block mapping. May be used for new road construction projects or for reconstruction or upgrading of existing roads.
Visual design and creation of Digital Terrain Models to complete Visual Impact assessments.
